@chuska8383 whether you agree with Socialism or not that is your problem, NO ONE can deny the failure of capitalism, even in the USA capitalism is going down.
@MaoistLeninistMarx And there it is. A gun is not an argument. The argument of violence, threats, and intimidation is simply an admission of intellectual impotence. There is no need to continue this exchange.
@chuska8383 What I know is that the only thing that will stop the warmongering capitalists and oppressors is to spill every drop of their blood. They will not step down from the stage of history voluntarily, they never have and never will. They will need to be dragged out forcefully. If the minority of the population is oppressing the the vast majority of the population, then that reactionary click will need to be suppressed with overwhelming force in the name of the people.
@MaoistLeninistMarx You never responded to my assertion that the initiation of violence on anybody is immoral. That IS the crux of what you are getting at, correct?
@chuska8383 unless your wife is 80 or 90 years old I dought she would have seen any of this going on. I have spoken to old people from the Russian SSR and they validated what I told you.
@MaoistLeninistMarx My wife is from the former soviet union. She knows about this stuff. She says that men with guns were going around Ukraine forcefully taking grain from the farmers for the "greater good" and the farmers were consequently left with nothing to feed themselves and their families. Thus, any food left was hoarded BUT again men with guns roamed the country looking for farmers who dared try to feed their families. Ukraine blames Russia publicly for the famine!
@chuska8383 You make an error, the economy was not centralized at the time of the famine, the NEP was going at this time (NEP=Market system) the collectivization became necessary and came about as a response to the hoarding of grain, this COLLECTIVIZATION ENDED THE FAMINE. there most certainly were famines during the Tsar, there was a major lack of food during the time of the Trars even in the cities, so you are incorrect.
@MaoistLeninistMarx No, on this issue I must be firm. Do not try to deflect the argument made: it is immoral for any majority to ever initiate violence and force on any group of people, even if they are in the minority, ESPECIALLY the lone individual. You must come to terms with this argument.
A country which before had plenty of grain yet just a few years after their economy was centralized by the Soviet central planners millions starved...and you blame the victims? Twisted
@chuska8383 well in the case of the Kulaks in Ukraine they said, "no we are upper-class, why should we help other". They ended up hoarding grain to inflate the value. This greedy action led to mass famines in Ukraine, this proved that the N.E.P. (mix of Socialism and Capitalism) did not work, do to this Stalin made collectivization of mandatory, and during this time Stalin made a crack-down on the Kulaks. The famine was due to the free market, not Socialism.
@MaoistLeninistMarx That is a completely valid question. I agree that many people, in fact the majority of people, in those countries you've listed wanted various forms of collectivism. I have no problem with that. If, however, even one person at any time said "no thanks" then I believe it is that person's right to do so, and it is immoral for any majority no matter how large to initiate violence and/or force on a minority, no matter how small, including a lone individual.
