  • @porschekid711 By the way even if GM owned 100% of Holden what makes a rebaged Holden Monaro equipped with a Small Block Chevy imported & built by another nation a real Pontiac? Better yet PMD has been dead since 1978 how is it a car from a dead Division? How is an non American Chevy powered import a true blue PMD GTO? It's a Chevy powered import, hell most of those cars dont even have the word Pontiac written on it! That car is a rebaged non GM import with a SBC, not an American PMD GTO! >8)

  • @porschekid711 The title on a 90s Geo Metro says Chevy however it's a Suzuki, as well a host of non GM cars have been sold under GM names, what part of that were you going to shock me with? >:P GM bought stock in Holden, they bought enough as to put their name in "GM Holden Ltd" last I checked it's not "GM Chevy Ltd" as Holden is a NON GM company, since GM has a majority stake in Holden they get to place who they want in charge to run it! 2 stock names 2 diff people O_o!

  • @ramairgto72 I'm pretty sure that the label on the inside of my door says GM Holden and If you go to Holden's website they sell several GM cars including the Chevy Colorado/GMC Canyon, the formerly Saturn Vue, the Pontiac G8, the Chevy Cruze, and the new police Chevy Caprice are all on there I just checked :-). It also has a link at the top that says "other GM sites" There is proof that Holden is GM. The GTO was a Holden but Holdens are GM cars.

  • @porschekid711 Holden is listed under "Subsidiary" and thats fancy lawyer talk for "we dont own it but we use it"! Besides high speed when did you ever see a car named a Holden by GM? NeVeR!

It's rebaged imported and sold as something it is not! I see your post but your wrong, look it up for yourself!?

  • @porschekid711 Holden and GM are 2 diff car makers, each with their own Stock market name and Symbols, GM stock can be bought but Holden is a Pvt-ly traded. And unless One car maker can have 2 stock names this makes it 2 different car makers! >:)

  • @LineEmUp504 GM owns Holden just like they own Chevy, Cadillac, GMC, or Buick

  • @ramairgto72 "Was it built by GM?" Yes it was. Holden IS GM. Another Pontiac with the same engine was the Firebird/Trans Am but I guess since it had a Chevy engine it was not really a Pontiac either... right?

  • @ramairgto72 oh!!!

  • @LineEmUp504 Pimp & Bottom Bitch. lol
