Dead Space Chapter 1 Part 5/5 Impossible Difficulty w/commentary

Why the Pulse Rifle? Im doing Impossible with just the Plasma Cutter....is that a good idea? haha I just dont want to waste the space with ammo of a weapon I problably wont use haha

If you buy the Pulse Rifle now and start upgrading it as much as you can, it will be nicely upgraded in time for when the tougher enemies turn up.

In later levels, it becomes as much a case of trying to stop the charging enemies getting to you as it does trying to take limbs off.

If you manage to complete impossible difficulty with just the Plasma Cutter WHITHOUT CHEATS then you would surely be a true Dead Space master.

I know i couldn't do it but good luck to you.

Haha hmm I might do that but Im pretty skilled with the Plasma Cutter & I will not use any cheats from now on haha I was going to use them when I got to the first Bench but if I was able to record my playthrough you would know I wasnt cheating Ill tell you when I beat it...lets just hope I can haha I am a very honest man so you can be sure its the truth.

Also Im wondering if you got all the Trophies in Dead Space? I only need this one lol

Yup, i've got all the trophies but the hardest one for me was the Dont Get Cocky Kid trophy.

it took me litterally days of attempts to get it.

My aim with that ATS Cannon is REALLY BAD!!!

the line gun is an under rated weapon but i like the timed mine it will take care of just about everything and once its upgraded its unstoppable

I got don't get cocky kid by accident I was just playing it through on impossible when I did the cannon part with 60% hull left.

Actually it's easier to use the plasma cutter as it's more efficient at dishing out damage and critical hits. With just a shot, a plasma cutter could stop an enemy from advancing too. Plus, with upgrades, you'd be invincible what with higher damage and capacity. The weapon is versatile, and you could engage any enemy with it whereas the pulse rifle is only effective against certain enemies such as the slasher, the exploders and it's a poor choice against babies and leapers.

I absolutely hated that trophy so much the first time I learned of that one was when I beat the game for the first time. Ive beaten the game ten times & I just got it like...a few days ago haha
