  • It's a little bit frightening to read the comments on this video, being a student considering going into medicine.

I don't see how you could possibly have such a negative view towards patients and you work environment. Your job is focused helping the people around you, not yourself. How do you get through nearly 10 years of school without gaining the personal fortitude to accept that some people are just unpleasant? Even if someone treats you like shit, you're still saving lives!

  • @stak45DDS

    well said.

  • @stak45DDS that "manual labor" by RNs u obviously don't know shiet about is making sure you get the right med and know their complicalions "manually" make sure you still stay alive after you've gotten the surgery , your not lying in some crusty bed with no call bells while you recover and make calls to whatever department to make sure you have what you need at home to recover and not have to come back to the hospital.

  • @skweeger Nurses = manual labor

Physicians = do all the thinking from over 10 years of training

  • Oh, I see, it's the Jewish conspirancy again. Okay then. I'll just back away slowly and speak very calmly...

  • @ruthborozco Violent doctors don't get put on 72 hr "holds": they get promoted and receive multiple awards from their abusive, often criminal, peers. Violent Jews from Harvard rank at the top of abusers. The violence is not just in the ERs, it is committed throughout the medical establishment, in various ways, and is strongly reinforced.

  • @murmur5555 --OBVIOUSY someone who's been put on a 72 hr hold for violence to hinself or others. Some people can't admit their role in less than ideal experiences...

  • I would just encourage all the haters to spend at least 6 months working some 12 hour shifts in the ER..come see it from the other side. No it's not perfect..but I promise you will have a whole new opinion AND appreciation about being a patient in the ER vrs working in the ER...whole new side to things on this side of the fence. People in general can be an ugly breed.
