The girl who said, "I'll follow," after the 1st verse, sounds just like Michelle T. Williams of Destiny's Child.

@MisterNelson OMG Thank you so much for posting this song..... I grew up with Pam Dodd and it was so amazing to me to see her achieve her goals with this group,,,, I remember her singing in our church choir and causing uproars on most sundays When this album came out it was and still is a POWERFUL ADDITION to the ministry of and in GOSPEL MUSIC

I Really Love this Song - Soooo Much....
I want this prayer to be my daily mantra for Ministry in everything I do for Jesus, with Jesus, through Jesus.
I luv these girls. I remember when it was just the three of them and then picked up the fourth one after being in the play "Momma Don't" when it was in Detroit. The high school choir I played drums for were in concert with them a couple of times.

WOW... you really brought back memories with MOMMA DON'T! By the time it toured out here in Cali, these girls weren't in it anymore. It was Lynette Hawkins-Stephens, Cheryl "Pepsi" Riley, and Gwen Foxworthy. I ended up playing keys for the play behind Gregory Dokes. BTW.. that whole band was a beast! Glennis, Al, Greg and Marc(Who later joined with Blackstreet). That was almost 20 years ago! Man, I'm getting OLD! LOL
Thanks for the walk down memory lane!

I wnt to know if u would mind putting Dr. Margaret Douroux in the tag. She is a great writter and this is one of her greatest songs, also her first song she wrote.
also if u would like to know more about her look at our videos

I appreciate you reminding of something I should be ashamed of neglecting (and I am), and that is honoring the writer.. the incomparable DR. MARGARET DOUROUX. I had the pleasure of working with her personally on several occasions. She is definitely a gospel music LEGEND.
Thanks for calling me on it. :-)
