Fruko's Boogaloo -- Casino Rueda routine by Strictly Street Salsa (practice session)

An informal, behind-the-scenes look at part of our final practice day (May 3, 2009) before performing this routine at The Wortham Center in Houston, Texas, on Cinco de Mayo (May 5, 2009). Strictly Street Salsa was part of Dance Houston's production of "Vida Del Baile."

The song is "Fruko's Boogaloo" by Fruko y Sus Tesos.

This routine includes a mix of regular Salsa dancing with Rueda de Casino. Most of our Rueda calls are standard, with a few minor modifications in some moves to fit the music, our style of dancing, and our overall choreography. The routine was choreographed by Michael Whitmire, and "called" during the show by Sergio Garcia.
