I really like the AR. I put mine together myself. The easiest way to get exactly what you want is to buy a lower (the part on the AR that must be registered with the ATF) and build it from the ground up, exactly like you want. Most of the parts on my AR carbine came from Palmetto State Armory. They have very good prices. I can't vouch for their reliability as far as mail order is concerned...they are right up the road from me and I simply go there to get my ammo and parts. Google is your friend.
