Fall of Felidae

My computer has literally eaten and digested all of my files, this would include all of my video related stuff. Sooo...once again I have lost everything I was working on. I think my computer literally hates The Ringing Bell of Chirin and Had Enough, so I don't know if I'll ever get that video done. Anyways, on a brighter note, I got more effects!!! Onto the video now:

I heard this song and the awesome creepiness seemed suitable for Felidae. Thus this AMV was born. Sadly, this didn't turn out quite how I wanted it to, but I suppose it's alright.

I pretty much agree with everything ShadowSmiffDemon said. It is a great AMV, not perfect, but still very good. I particularly liked how you matched the guitar screams and such with Francis screaming etc., that was a great idea. Also, the dynamics of the song are very well followed with the footage, especially from 00:47 to 1:17. The zooming thing at 01:03 was kinda off and it bugged me a lil' bit, but overall, 4/5 stars and I'm very picky too ^^. Promising stuff right there. ;)

Well I know it's here on youtube in German and English. I'm not sure if they ever made a French dub of it. But Felidae is about a cat named Francis who moves into a new home with his owner. When he goes out back he finds a dead cat and learns that there have been a lot of cats being killed lately. Francis then tries to solve the murder mystery. I love it. It's a fantastic movie.

Hm, I think this amv would've been better if there had been none of those color hues because a song like this + Felidae would've given off a great dramatic and creepy atmosphere. For those kind of things, you should stick to grayscale and regular color clips.

Some of the effects seemed a bit too random for my taste (again, going back to the color hues), so what I recommend is that you choose carefully what effect seems to fit best, in order to really bring out the theme of your amv.
