Part A - This is the INTRODUCTION piece only to "...a place called Viet Nam" which is an 8 Part Audio/Video Slide Show Series created to help all who have never experienced modern warfare better understand what it was like for those who were on the ground during what was a very fast paced, extremely violent war known as The War in Viet Nam..
This opening is also a mini-tribute to family members all of whom are Veterans of every war America has found itself to be a part of including the Revolutionary War.
The entire 45 minute piece is a view of The War in Viet Nam, as seen and interpreted by one young man who was there in 1969 & 1970 serving as an Infantryman with The 173rd Airborne Brigade - "Charlie" Co./3rd Batt/503rd Inf.
This series is a very good educational piece as its focus is not solely on the acts of war alone, but also gives a view at the faces of those who served, as well as the aftereffects "that war" had upon those whom it was so unjustly directed against, the People of Viet Nam (see: Part-B "The People and Some of the Players").
Try to view the entire show in its correct sequence in as this slide show was originally one 45 min. long piece which had to be edited in order to meet YTs size limit requirements.
