For millions of years, the heroic Autobots have defended freedom against the evil Decepticons. Now, in 1984, their war has engulfed the Earth. The Decepticon leader, Megatron, has found this new world to be rich in energy. However, the Autobots, lead by Optimus Prime, won't let the Earth's resources be plundered without a fight. Can the Earth stand up to the might of Megatron? Or will the fate of the human race rest on the shoulder plates of the Autobots...

from the editor:
When my brother and I watched the original show back in the 80's, we would tape the audio through the air into a mic atop our boombox. Then we would playback the tapes into the night as we played with our toys. When our stepdad wasn't home, we would chill downstairs and really tape the show on his "not to touch" oldskool 'moose' vhs.

Now, after 23 years of watching and loving the Transformers, I decided it was about time to put my imagination into a collage-story, using clips from the original tv series. Using scenes from the first-half of Generation One, episodes 1-65 give or take, I have come up with a 2 hour and forty-five minute adventure that retells the classic battle for the Earth, in a fast-paced remix-style that I hope you enjoy half as much as I did making it. I still watch and will always love the many versions of the Transformers Universe. Animated, comic book, Hasbro toy line, Japanese series, the entire epic is close to my heart, er... Lazercore.

  • LOLS , i love the bots' twins , sunstreaker & sideswipe! :D

  • Me too! (Sideswipe was my first TF toy back in 84!) I broke his arm off one night... ;(

  • lol at the basketball part. I don't remember that part!:D So did you blend these episodes together?

  • Yes, I did a cut and paste style to make up the sequences. 5 seconds from here, 2 seconds from there. It pieced itself together like it had a mind of its own! :)

  • it was great seeing MEgatron in his maniacal voice done by Frank Welker always taking his frustrations on Starscream and belitte and Screamer always plays the cowardly bootlicking act for Megatron to show him mercy

  • its official: optimus prime is good at EVERYTHING. even goddamn basketball.

  • yes. i also have a book with all the G1 toys in it. it has a warning with Mirage. i did buy a second one just a year ago. my original snapped in the 80s i still remember where i was. :S

  • it was at the waist right? he is so weak there. I have 2 of them currently..and one is broke there

  • that's nothing my Mirage snapped in two while i was playing with him. still remember my surprise and holding the two pieces...;(

  • Nice animation of Prime at 7:22-7:24

  • Poor bastard! His toy was great and he was my favorite character and hero when I was young. I never liked Sunstreaker as much, simply not as humble as him. My neighbour had him as a toy, I loved just to see him. And when I saw the Red Alert toy in a toy store I was simply stunned. Never got it though ...

  • yeah it did!:D See if I did something like that I'd probably

think too hard on it and screw it over -_- But you did a good

    job
