the Patriot Act is a massive overstepping of federal government authority into the lives of private citizens.

This kind of intrusive spying and monitoring should not happen in America. Its utterly reminiscent of the KGB in the former Soviet Union.

The Rule of Law must prevail.

I find it ironic that these pro war candidates are anti abortion but see no problem with dropping massive bombs on people in other countries and killing wholesale

YOU are the one sounding the the "monster" as you can't "limit the amount of kids" without KILLING them within or without the womb!

It is also IMPOSSIBLE NOT to have some religious framework that informs all decisions and laws. In the former Soviet Union, secular Humanism was the religion that most informed (or darkened) it's law and actions. Death is the most clear symptom of trying to leave God out of law.
