@jerseyassasin1975 Dude, there isn't a single bike on the planet that won't have things go wrong at some point. IMO don't buy a toy if you are scared its gonna break at some point.

@jerseyassasin1975 I have an 08 1125r and no problems (the mirrors do vibrate quite a bit). Handling is the best I have experienced, power is excellent. I got the aftermarket fairing which IMO makes it look much better.

All this video needs is the bike exploding at the end of the video of all the problems it has.

theres an 08 1125r on ebay for a buy it now $5699.00 but I am afraid to buy it and have it break. my insticts are telling me this bike is just to new and not really road tested for years. does anyone know if these bikes hold up? I have had a 99 road king that never broke down and a zx11 that never had a single issue so if I buy a buell and it falls apart I will kick myself for not listening to my insticts.

I was at a Buell day at my local HD dealer.
They are one of the few that fully supports buell bikes and its riders. While at the day, I met one of the VPs from HD, cool guy. I also found some remaps that quiet the bike down. The bikes fan clubs have done some cool shit.

Talking about motorcycles, not planes or other stuff... buell(rotax engines or not) has a long way to go ...yet...
-
It looks like a nice bike but I wouldnt trust it in the long run. Buell still has a long way to go its like a harley to much vibration causing mis-haps on the way. I wouldnt even dare call it a super bike not yet. Why build harley riders hate it, the guys at the H/D dealer ships hate it so why bother. Its like an in-between bike not qiet a harley and not qiet a street bike. Thats me.

I was looking at one on the second hand market, and they're now cheap as chips for near brand new ones, just worried that i'll pick up one that wasn't sorted ecu wise and that
-
well it must be a great bike then right? wrong... It's a large step in the right direction. however, still a bit of sorting out is due. The buell name has been associated with H/D for as long as I rememmber. that large step is that he found a new power plant provider. And as for the RC8 it rode ok. But, I dont want to look like a stealth fighter. Or pay the weight to price ratio....

why do americans say alot of bad things about Buell? if it beat KTM then it's a real bike. i even like the sound and it's very short wheelbase. dry weight is simmilar to a ducati.
Right, this American garbage beat the crap out of the works RC8 KTM at both bike's first race in Hockenheim a month ago. Biggest difference...the Buell was bone stock, in fact one of the worn bikes from this press launch fielded by a German dealer team who bought the bike used from Buell after the launch, while the RC8s were factory bikes in race trim.
