Oh my God I remember totally falling in love with U2. This sound, the songs, the feeling, the attitude. And to this day I have managed to never see them live. And honestly, as much as I love everything they do, every phase they have gone through, I'm most sad that now, if I do see them live, I won't hear these old songs from their old albums that I adore so much...

Ahhhh, U2 where did ya go after you left red rocks! your sound- Haunting, Majestic, Classic, never to be done that way again, even though they will never go back, U2 owns RED ROCKS, their spirit walks about there every night... they just allow other artist to use it time and again! How long? the Day was Sunday, Bloody Sunday-June 5th 1983 a day that will live on in infamy!

the U2 live at red rocks album was probably the most influential record I ever heard. In my college years (1983-1987), I discovered U2 and there has been no turning back. If you didn't listen to U2 or REM in my day, you were out of the loop. It is the best live album of all time.
