WRONG Jose Yaniez was the 1st to do a BACK FLIP! He did it in RAD & The 1st time was at the Grands back in the early 80's

Mike D was the first to do a 900 around 1987 or 1988. Matt did one in a comp in Toronto for the first time around 1990. I dont think that he is dissing Hawk, he is just simply saying a 900 on a bike is way more dangerous than a 900 on a skateboard, I dont think there is much argument there.

I respect Eddie Fiola, a true legend. The only thing is why is he dissin' on Tony Hawk?I remember back then there was dissent between bikers and skaters, but that was over 20 years ago. You'd think he'd have moved on since then. Second, Tony Hawk has done tons to bring back interests in old school sports such as BMX and skateboarding. Maybe he is just bitter cuz Hawk has the limelight but I don't think that is the case.
