Wait, weren't there people living on the sides of the hole? We saw them in episode 5, there were huge buildings and flying cars and everything. What happened to them when missing junk was put back?

@JoanuMostrafta They evacuated to orbiting satellite buoys when alarm sirens sounded at 25 minutes to go. But unfortunately this would not all fit into a five minute episode. This is the reason why a new series needs to be made.

Yes, although it was a "digital" information transfer, as opposed to "analogue", that means that the copy of Plasmo should be identical, but it did open the way for philiosphical disputes between the characters about whether the Plasmo that manifested out of the "fax" machine was in fact the real Plasmo, or just an imitation. I agree it is a shame that the series was not taken up for a second series by the ABC as it was just warming up with regards to the depth of these characters.

@MynameisElliott Plasmo came from a planet covered in rubbish if I remember correctly, and he tried to build a tower to the moon out of junk. Perhaps that's what he means by "junky blob".
