Just 53 seconds after Iceland taking the lead against Scotland at Easter Road in the second leg of the play-off to reach the 2011 UEFA Under 21 Championship in Denmark, Chris Maguire took kickoff, turned, and struck at goal, lobbing the keeper with it landing in the back of the net. He could probably retire now after scoring that goal

@legandrydirk point is, iceland is a small country and yet we kick ass at many sports, perhaps not football but we are still in the top 30 easily. We have the players good enough to beat denmark or even the bigger countries, we just haven't ever used them. In the past 10 years we have had shit coaches that would rather use young players that the best we can use.

We have often had close games against big teams, then we lose in the last 2minutes. Its a shame you cant see that. Sheep shaggin cunt.
