i agree with this dude, john mayer is an exceptional musician overall, an amazing singer songwriter, and on top of that his guitar skill is insane! his ability to create such strong, sound chordal progressions with sweet vocal melodies over the top is a real credit to his musicianship, then put him in the John Mayer Trio and he rocks the shit out of blues!!
