ECPC- The Hygiene Song

This is a song (or rather, a simple tune with lyrics) I wrote for a business a group of students and I created within the Burnaby North Entrepreneurship Venture Club. We have developed a personal care program for kindergarten-Grade 4 students, and this song is part of our lesson plan.

Lyrics:

I say 1, 2, 3, listen close to me,
I will teach you how to keep the germs away
If you sing along, to this hygiene song
Then your perfect health will stay

So first you have to know
To brush your teeth two times a day
Brush once when you wake up
Once more at the end of the day

When you get a cut, and you say "OW!"
Get a band-aid, so the germs will stay out
Change your band-aid every single day
To keep the slime away.

When your lips are too dry
It's time to put on chap stick
Or else your lips will crack
So make sure to do it quick!

Before and after every meal
Or after you go take a pee
You must keep in mind to wash your hands
This is easy peasy!

And when you're eating food
It can get stuck when you chew
Just get your floss and know
You will feel good as new!

So just sing along to this hygiene song
Then you can always be healthy and strong
I say 3, 2, 1, now go have some FUN!
