  • The subtitles are way off-sync. Can this be fixed? Please do the necessary adjustments because this is a great film. Thanks.

  • Are the subtitles off-sync?

  • From 0:49:34 to 0:50:27 the wonderful sequence of the rapturous dance between Gaby and Pépé with their perfectly synchronized tango steps.

  • Great French film of 1937 directed by Julien Duvivier and starring Jean Gabin. Pépé le Moko is a gangster who tries to escape the police hiding in the Casbah of Algiers.

The film is an example of poetic realism, which combines the crude realism with occasional flashes of unusual cinematographic tricks.

This film is the precursor of film noir.

    Thanks for uploading.
