I kinda disagree, T-Mac never developed a post game, never played defense, never developed an all around game. I thought he could have been better than Kobe if his health was good, but the more I think about it, healthy Kobe vs healthy T-Mac, Kobe would win cuz all T-Mac has is offense and I think Kobe is a way better offensive player than T-Mac was. Fortunately, Kobe was able to play though his injuries and it sucks T-Mac had the injuries he had. I wish i could have seen more of T-Mac

T-Mac. About the only advantages Kobe had over McGrady was obsessive drive and determination, but that didn't close the talent gap. McGrady was taller, more athletic, a better passer, better rebounder, and possibly the most underrated defender in the league. When McGrady was the only one on his team(s) who could score he saved his energy for offense, but when he really played defense he would bottle people up with his athleticism. He used to swat Kobe's shots like it was nothing special.

No need to compare and contrast had certain things not happen i.e. Grant Hill getting hurt, Shaq and Kobe, Tmac getting hurt, you guys are all arguing saying what if this happened? Guess what it did, so there is no need saying Mcgrady would be better if he didnt get hurt, he did...... if Tmac had Shaq he would have won X amount of championships guess what Kobe got him, I am a huge Tmac fan and I believe both are easy HOFers, why compare? They were and Kobe is still dominant. Go TMac, GO HAWKS!!!

You do realise the kwame brown and luke walton suck so bad that they score in their own basket right. kwame brown is the worst basketball player in history, smush got dropped out of the league in his prime lol, and luke walton is only in the nba becuz of his dad, tmac = 5 seasons over 25ppg, kobe = 10 seasons over 25ppg

Kobe better, but T-mac had just a smuch, if not more talent. he was taller, longer, and was super gifted. i give it lack of hard work ethic and a bad body. Kobe was gifted with that MJ desire to be the best and push themselves to an insane level. Kobe be my second fav player. Both wer emy heres growing up and still are. Kobe and T-mac, on the same team, in 2002-2003 = 2 championships...in ONE YEAR HAHAHA.
