if its spit screen then u cant see your guy and its first person in the pc verion and u cant change that the reason he has got 3rd person is cause he is playin the xbox or ps3 version

Splitscreen: It's just like that and you can't change it.

Online: I'm not too sure but I think you could change it by going on player options in the multiplayer menu.....
