Andreas isnt just timed notes his melodic passages are just too fast for anyone who isnt at a certain level of playing or listening to music overall he is the best you will see in this age as far as jazz guitar goes. and dont go saying hes not a virtuoso he has mastered and played every style of guitar you could possibly think of...he is a master at guitar in a way that barely anyone could comprehend and by the way wa waus trying to show off too he just sux hahaha

Andreas is one of the greatest young guitarists around mastering both mainstream jazz, fusion and gypsy stuff. Wawau is great but limited to gypsy style only.

Yes I agree, I viewed his TV show quartet performane. He was wonderful and obviously capable of performing fantasticly when the situation calles for it. Thank you for your reply.

That is very true. The most difficult thing to do is to play nothing more than the music want's (and/or requiers) but I think in this informal jam Oberg was more like goofing off compared to other solos I've heard with in. For example when he played gypsy jazz on Swedish television.

Wawau is listening to the music as he creates a very musical solo passage not just a lot of timed notes. Unfortunately Oberg can not support the soloist very well. All he seems do is show off. That is not a virtuso.
