For Barbara Acklin's daughter, Samotta, who requested this. One of the outstanding tracks from Barbara's album, 'Someone Else's Arms', it's easy to hear why this would be a favorite. Super production at Brunswick by Eugene Record, with backing by the Chi-Lites, this is just a stunning recording. Barbara, who also composed this is at her peak for sure. So, Samotta enjoy this one as I'm sure so many others will. My favorite 'little guy' , Preston gets some of the photo honors as well. From 1970, a cut that shows again how truly talented Barbara Acklin was. Enjoy!!

I love this song, and dedicate it to my nephew Syrus, whose "just a lil guy" seven to be exact a March baby boy. I also like her song about love makes a women. Timeless and truer words indeed!

JC, thanku sooo much for that! I cant help but to cry when listening to this song. It reminds me of so many conversations my mom and i had, when I was a child. My brother Marcus, is who she was writing about. Hes my older brother, and I cant wait to inform him that you posted the song. Never heard this one JC,but it is top quality stuff. Much respect to you for this one and what you said about Ms. Acklin is true,she was very talented both as a singer and songwriter. She and record wrote many great tunes. One of my favorites the two wrote is "Judge Me Right" by Tyrone Davis. I've got to get that one up if no one else has.
