  • A big salam to the legendary Maestro from Bangladesh. An artist is universal.without any political Boundary. Art is for Art's sake. Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan created a legend by fusing ancient Kawali with the modernism. He is a creator of new image in the music, rendered in this part of subcontinent. Salute to u Nusratji. May Allah give u a place in Heaven, where u belong. Ameen

  • Most beautiful voice and music. RIP Nusrat.

  • yep NFAK himself said that all the qawwalis he did are an IRFANA KALAM so yep its to do with the divine! so it jus depends on the listeners interpretation..........

  • its in punjabi buddy

  • hey guys i would like say one thing all these Sufi ghazals or songs are from point of view of a lover where they consider God their beloved and when they talk about sharab ,it means the the state of absolute bliss which is 100 times grater than any state of being intoxicated .

Baba Bulle shah was a very famous Fakir who is believed have reached the higher level of consciousness .

if you love this you might wanna hear the Begam Abida Praveen ,she `s sung him beautifully .

  • This was a Kalaam written for Bulleh Shah's spiritual teacher's return. This song does have the literal meaning of a lover returning, but in actuality, this was written with a different interpretation in mind.

  • and its not in urdu it is punjabi

  • it is a romantic song sung by a woman whose husband is coming home.
