Perioderm is the latest in a line of grafting products from DENTSPLY/Tulsa Dental Specialties. It is a soft tissue allograft that was used in this case to treat severe gingival recession. Unlike traditional grafts which require harvesting of tissue from the patient's palate, Perioderm has the advantage of achieving a predictable, cosmetic result without the pain and discomfort often reported with palatal grafts. Compared to other allografts such as Alloderm, Perioderm also has the advantage of a shorter hydration period (3-5 minutes), no need for refrigeration, and no addition of antibiotics. This surgery demonstration was performed live by David H. Wong, DDS, a periodontist in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He has presented this technique internationally and also provides training to dentists wishing to learn about soft tissue grafting.

  • Dentistry is quite primitive and extremely expensive in most western countries. Dentist refuse to even think outside the box when it comes to some treatments, they don't listen to patient concerns and only think with their wallets. Some treatments can cost more then putting a new roof on your house. some dentist get it, most don't though.

  • @YhwhKhai you´re qualified to suck my dick jew piece of shit

  • @YhwhKhai interesting way to solve problems, beeing racist.. haha look, Im Mexican and I dont want to be rude, but I paid schools you cant afford, I have 2 houses in the U.S. and actually I have the residence so to be honest Im more attractive for ¨America¨ than you, I bring work and progress to whitetrash scumbags like you. And what a fucking coincidece I mentioned ¨master deegree¨ and you have 2 ajajjaa If I tell you mi car collection you´re going to say you have a bugatti hahaha and so on...

  • @YhwhKhai actually it´s quite the opposite, see Im a plastic surgeon and im about to finish my master degree on facial reconstruction and this kind of surgery is a very important part of my job, so ¨imbicile¨ haha you better shut the fuck up maybe I can save your life someday, or a tits job to your mom or maybe a pussy/ass reconstruction to your sister for beeing slut or pull in the prolapsed colon of your dad from beeing like the1man1cup gaylord.

    OK, SON?

  • @YhwhKhai this could be genetic, thin gum tissue (also genetic), ph on saliva, anxiety problems, brushed too hard, this can happen to your mother, sisters, brothers, wife, g.f., father and even you dumbass

  • @CAMACORP How are you? You decide on surgery ? In most cases, local anesthesia to the surgery was painless. If a patient has gum recession, the operation - the only way to fix the location of the gingival margin.

  • Dentist has told me I need a cirugy like this, I would like to know in your experience, what is the possibility of success? is this the only way to fix the gingival recession? Thanks in advance for your prompt response, I am very nervous with this situatiot, it appears to be very painfull.

  • is it local anesthesia !!??

i think they should give him general anesthesia

  • shit
