Musician, radio host and filmmaker Dave von Kleist sings a Phil Ochs song at the Common Cause Medical Research Foundation's 9th annual conference, Sudbury, Ontario Aug 30 2008.
Ochs' song captures the induced paranoia of the late 50s and 60s which turned everything into a suspected threat, and thus to preemptively cripple it, destroy it.
Dave von Kleist concludes the song with a rif on the 'peace movement' -- a 'peace movement' crippled, incidentally, by its unwillingness/inability to examine its government's most egregious crimes against its purportedly own people ("itself"), e.g. assassinations, false flag operations, self-inflicted wounds, chemical, biological and nuclear warfare (chemtrails, mycoplasmas, DU), and continued obeisance to Israel.
Dave von Kleist is co-host of THE POWER HOUR on radio.

Better examples of Phils writing would be "changes" or "I aint't marching anymore" or "I'm going to say it now". Nothing strange about Phil Ochs writing he was just way ahead of the curve.

Love this guy and his cover of Phil Oches is perfect. Listen to the audience. I bet NOT ONE of them did a think between this show and 11/2008. That is apathetic America !!!!!
