This is a demonstration of the TC Electronic ND-1. The pedal is set to a basic 'slap-back' delay mode.
I am using a GigRig Pro 14 switching system to control my amps and effects. More info on this unit can be found at http://www.thegigrig.com/.

I also use a Boss RV-5 Rever pedal set to Room reverb, to fatten the sound.

i'm looking to get a delay, and i was wondering if this thing is good for stuff like explosions in the sky, this will destroy you, other post rock/post metal, and maybe some shoegaze type stuff. would you recommend this?

Yup the Nova Delay is great it has a very good range of tones from tape to analog to digital, so should cover most bases
