Here is a demo of the Zendrive overdrive pedal by Hermida Audio Technology. Great overdrive pedal, many say it gives you a Dumble in a Box. I used a Les Paul for this demo. Incredibly thick tone and sustain. Using a Line 6 UX2 studio with a Fender Bassman emulated amp in POD Farm, with a little delay and reverb for good measure.

Let me know what you think of the Zendrive!

  • awesome! how does it compare to the Boss OD-3

  • Not sure, never used a Boss OD-3, but I can tell you that this pedal will blow any Boss pedal out of the water.

  • that does give a nice thick tone, I like it

Im rather sick of the BOSS SD-1 been looking into something better for boosting an 800

  • The Zendrive would definitely be a step up from an SD-1

  • @otisray99 This is the second Zendrive video I've seen you shilling the Dumkudo on, maybe if you spent more time playing through it and not trolling Zendrive reviews with it stuck up your arse you wouldn't come accross as so bitter.

  • @razvedchick i like how for 260$ you get a pedal with 20 cent knobs.

  • its a korean les paul!

  • Hey there how you can compare $40 Boss and Almost $260 Zen of course boss not even close to it not money wise but the sound wise. This pedal is awesome and other wise nobody is stupid to sell this pedal lower then it goes.

  • People need to wake up and realize the Tanabe Dumkudo and Zenkudo kick ass on the Zendrive! I had the Zen did not like it, sounds sterile, sold it. The Dumkudo is an amazingly versatile pedal with the 3 mode switch, sell the ZEN, buy the Tanabe Dumkudo!!!

  • There is no Boss pedal that could touch this thing. On the other hand the Boss price tag is much lower. This is probably the nicest overdrive in existence short of spending thousands on an amp.

  • Wonderful, clear and articulate tone!
