Smitty: Glad you enjoyed the Ring on Stick. Only one part of it is Vernon's -- the part of taking it off the stick and sliding it back on. The rest of the routine was part Charlie Miller and me. Charlie was riding with me back to Los Angeles in 1960 and I did my Ring on Stick routine for him. He like some of it, but worked with me to improve it. Late he showed a friend the routine and that person wrote it up for the Genii Magazine and gave only credits to Charlie.
