  • 2004? damn, at this point they were just recycling demos as it was mostly crappy Midas games that were coming out.

Do you have any of those demo disks from Mcdonalds? they released about 4 i think.

  • Unfortunately not; what you see on my channel is every single demo disc I own.

  • Official PlayStation Magazine - UK: a wonderful magazine from beginning to end.

I still aim for the quality of wwriting it had from 1995-1999.

Anyone know of any archives or websites of the articles?

  • Demo Disc #108 is the last Demo Disc made by the Official UK Playstation Magazine. This, itself, was part of the last issue released. After March 2004, the Official UK Playstation 2 Magazine was the only magazine made by them until Winter 2006, when the renamed Playstation Official Magazine (UK) *covering mostly PS3*, was launched. The last PS2 Magazine was made in June 2008, issue #100.

  • @Mysterious0Bob I still am, and my hacked psp gave it a new lease of life lol

  • @Mysterious0Bob I was.

  • 2004?! Jesus Christ, who was still playing on their PSX in 2004? Sure, the odd person might, but it seems mental to me that they were still producing demo disks to advertise PlayStation 1 games the same year Half Life 2 and Resident Evil 4 were released. Its mad.
