No Justice at Victree City: City of Victoria Violates Human Rights

On October 15, 2008, a BC Supreme Court Judge struck down city by-laws that were found to be in violation of homeless people's rights to life, liberty and security of person.
The city refuses to obey the judge's ruling and continues to enforce this illegal and unconstitutional by-law.

the city is in contempt of court and is leading the police to disobey the law. david arthur johnston worked for 5 years to get a judge to make a ruleing . the city ignores the ruleing and is now criminally in contempt of the law.

@Hathor2006 Solution is there should be land set aside for the use of HL this land should have things needed to be sanitary running water place to shower keep warm it is a lot cheaper to do it this way than to put them in jail. The courts were not constructed for this stuff they were for real violaters people that were highway men If they force the HL into the woods that is what you would have all over again people that go into the woods and live on their spoils, they would be untraceable.

9pm to 7am is better than nothing? The police in the states would beat your ass spray you with pepper spray and probably shoot one or two and charge them with assult on an officer if they were bit by a mosquito when making the arrest. With thas said it is far less expense to allow camping in a park than to lock them in jail in jail no one wins since was it illegal to be poor? Would they give a dam if they were camping in the wilderness? We are now in 2010 what has occured since? An agreement?

THE CITY OF VICTORIA is a fiction, a corporation.
