So there have been a few requests for me to put up some more videos, but what with the horrors of finals upon me I haven't really had time to make any new ones so I've poked around in the archive and found this. It's some slashy goodness that wasn't even remotely implied in either the book or the film between Edmond Dantes and Fernand Mondego set to some good old 80's music for a bit of fun. Hope this keeps you all entertained while I do less cheery things.

Disclaimer: footage comes from the 2002 film "Alexandre Dumas' The Count of Monte Cristo", which was not made by me but by Spyglass Entertainment, Touchstone Pictures and all those other good people. The music is "I Can't Fight This Feeling" as performed by REO Speedwagon. My only contribution is the editing as found in this specific instance.

  • gay song

  • Just for clarification, do you mean 'gay' as in homosexual or 'gay' as in rubbish? Either is a possibility and in either case the response is that I can only describe the song as terribly 80's. That's why I picked it :)

  • I think 'gay as in rubbish' is the more plausible conclusion considering this was not in anyway implied in the book or any film based off of it...the fact that you made the comment was the only reason I wasn't horribly offended by this...

  • lol 4:26-4:39 made me laugh so much, just cause it's so far from the original intent of that scene XD

  • The last time I watched this movie I kept hoping they would just kiss and make up even though i knew perfectly well what was going to happen.

  • I love Jim Cavizel

  • Simone on the Toby Stephens moonfruit forum has suggested that you should be editing films professionally..........I agree. Good work!

  • Wow is that incredibly slashy ! Wasn't expecting that by the description... I like it! Yum!
