Rum taste through out the whole smoke.
Taste dipped between Hints of coffee, chocolate, leather, earth and on occasion a beanie taste. I noted the essence of a vanilla flavor that a fellow smoker guessed at and I never laid my finger on until he mentioned it. The smoke was woody, but not too strong, and sweet, some may find too light and others will certainly find too strong, but on my pallet I enjoyed this sweetness. Other sticks smoked similar - some being more dark and darkened in taste more than this smoke, and others with a hint lighter of sweetness, but all in all this was fairly close to the other sticks characteristics I have had in the past.
After talking with the fellow smoker - I agree that this may go well after a desert of possible Vanilla Ice cream or Pecan nuts with either flavored with Maple or with some Raw Honey mixed with them.
I'm of the opinion that one could experiment and find many after dinner things to aid the smoking experience. One suggestion is a nice Cognac and or the pecans spoken of previously.
This was nothing outstandingly fantastic, but I do like to have this in my arsenal of smoking sticks.
