  • First you say they will tone over a 30 year period then you say you dug these over the course of 30 years. See the difference? For them to all tone like that they would all have to be dug in the first couple of years. Those coins are flawless. PURCHASED AT A SHOP NOT DUG. What would I learn from you? How to use your cheesy little outdated machine and then lie about my finds and throw my dirt all over the park?

  • @capndan151

OK...let me try this one more time, since you still don't understand....Some of the coins were found 30 or so years ago, some of the coins are more recent..many of the toned coins were toned when found, many toned after being found, some of them were found more recently and are still toning to this day. A coin dropped 200 years ago can stay exactly that same until found. My reputation stands, your posts here indicate where the fool is. Learn the hobby. You won't look so stupid.

  • did you clean your coins

  • @Ray5404 When I first started this hobby, I did clean the ones I found....later on I quit. Some of the silver coins and the gold coins came out pretty clean though. On common date dimes and quarters, I still clean them. Unless the condition is so good that it will damage them.

  • The dirt seems to keep the coins in good condition

  • @Mongofa Yes...the majority of our coins do well in out soil. It's a neutral soil for the most part and coins 200 years old are usually in great condition with very little environmental effects.

  • Where do you live? Because I live in Oklahoma and can never find anything interesting. Except for that 30 lb. Iron meteorite I found.

  • Still swingin? Really nice finds.

We do alot of full digs (show the entire dig from beep to recovery) & we get questions about the condition of coins even after they've watched it come out of the ground. in 30 yrs of swingin' I bet you have one sweet collection of finds, Congrats.

as far as the machine goes, the best detector on the market is the one that finds you the goodies & there's alot of people diggin great finds with the Ace 250, IMO it's the best starter detector for the money.

  • @millenniumdawg I agree... and the 1909 VDB??? I didnt see VDB on the back ANYWHERE...

  • cool

None of the coins are key date coins with the exception of the 1901-O Barber Quarter. These were dug over a period of over 30 years, They have toned SINCE being dug..Most any coin pulled from the ground, will tone over a 30 year period. Your ignorance on the whole subject is astounding. Try to learn, before insulting, you'll do better in life.

  • Holy cow, i cant believe these are real, so good looking
