George's opening track at his gig at Glasgows Hampden Park. Absolutely stunning tune, originally sang by Tim Buckley then covered by the legendary This Mortal Coil.
i was there at the very front of the gold circle. at the front of the stage. i could see the colour of his eyes! it was a great day i will never forget.
I didn't like Wham, I hated Mchael's songs , only one was good, a different corner, but this cover IS fantastic. George became my hero cos of the way he dealt with that toilet incident. Awesome Michael, cool to see your stage has a giant piece of toilet paper rolled out. a Shame nobody noticed the hint!! :)
Who knows?!! I saw him at Wembley and Manchester, and he was even more on form than he was at Earls Court last year. I hope he releases this on CD: what a voice; what a singer.
Thanks so much for adding this - what an amazing night that was! We were front row & I was too busy being completely stunned to take it all in, so its great to watch these videos!
It's more Cocteau Twins than Tim Buckley though.
