Yes its true vr6 has unique razorblade sound, but the moron driving it is way of. there is no way in hell that a 4 cyl 325 bmw can beat the vr6 its just the moron driver. i raced s 500 mercedes lihgt to loiht ford mustang gt wrx subaru bmw z4 8 cyl. ? and i beat them. do something else if you dont feel the engine sound in telling you when to shift u moron. you deserved this comment.

Yeah, the VR6 in a Mk3 is a 12 valve engine, while the M50 in a 325i is 24 valves. The 24 valve VR6's from Mk4's made about 200hp.
That being said, the M50 is still a better motor in my opinion. I know when I step on the gas my 325i will haul ass and sound good doing it.
