I think it has a hint of cigarette smoke.

I do get a strong opening petroleum for the first hour or two, and I love it! This is pretty loud though. Not to be over-applied, unless you want the whole room sneezing and staring at you.

I understand the petroleum notes, but it contains leather also. The Dior website says it was modeled after the aroma of a certain Russian leather. I get no pure, standalone "petroleum." This is fantastic, very spicy/peppery at top with some pine. The dry-down is beautiful. Oily, aged leather with a touch of manly, dry sweetness. Graham cracker dust mixed with damp, peppered pine and leather.

I just bought the cologne and will try it out asap. Get back with me for the reviews. I must say you presented your video very well. :)

What are thoughts on using the shower gel and deoderant of the same scent? Do you buy these with the colognes? If not, do you worry about your shampoo, soap, and deoderant masking or clashing with the cologne you are wearing for the day?
