Home educators broke all records on 8th December 2009 with a mass presentation by MPs of a parliamentary petition against the Badman proposals and the Government's intention to legislate on the basis of the Report's recommendations.

  • Well done on the Labour MPs who proved that they put constituency before Party, and stood up to present the petition for their constituents rather than either just bag it, or even worse, refuse to take it.

  • This is encouraging. However if the Govt. goes ahead, and has to enforce a party whip line to get it's way, it will yet again show the deeply anti-democratic nature, not only of the whip, but of Governance in the UK.

  • Can you give an update.

    It seems that the system is attempting to cover certain issues up. Education within the state system has taken a rather strange course of direction of late.

    The language employed appears, if the truth be known, to be more double speak.
