Sending of an electronic supplier Catalogue through the PEPPOL (Pan-European Public Procurement OnLine)* network, using the PEPPOL tool to create, import and send it and Open e-PRIOR** to validate and route the Catalogue to the appropriate contracting authority.
*PEPPOL: Pan-European Public Procurement OnLine. The PEPPOL project aims at enabling cross-border public procurement in Europe. More on http://www.peppol.eu
**Open e-PRIOR: Open e-PRIOR is the open-source version of e-PRIOR, a platform developed by and deployed at DG Informatics at the European Commission to exchange structured e-procurement documents between the EC and its suppliers. Open e-PRIOR is targeted at Member States and is funded by the ISA (Interoperability Solutions for European Public Administrations) programme. Open e-PRIOR provides an opportunity to reuse the open-source version of a solution that is now operational at the EC. It is also a great opportunity to share practical experiences and lessons learnt with the aim of accelerating uptake of e-procurement across Member States.
