The one thing that kinda turns me off (no pun intended) about this sketch is the fact that the kids don't unplug the machines. Electricity can still run through a plug even after a machine is turned off. Unfortunately, energy consumption wasn't as much of a concern in the 90s as it is now in the '00s.

I contacted Fran Brill a few days ago. She can do a great Dolly Parton impression! She can also do a superb impression of a Scottish girl.

WOW I have been looking everywhere for this. Thank you so much. It's a brill song the old CTW songwriters wrote brill songs for Sesame Street. I give this video 5 stars. Who played Polly Darton was it Fran Brill or Louise Gould? I can't remember. It's a brill song. It's such a fab song. I wish I had this song DVD and CD. I would love lots of sesame street episodes on DVD and all the songs from Sesame Street on CD that would be brill. I hope they bring Sesame Street back to the UK on Channel 4.

The old CTW songwriters had a gift for making serious issues kid-friendly...not like the guys who write the preachy stuff on today's Sesame Street. Five stars!
