A tribute to Daniel Cho who died July 6th 2010 while swimming in Montreux Switzerland

He worked with various artists as a session/touring musician and was best known as part of Regina Spektor's band

I was inspired to create this video after going to several Regina Spektor gigs in the past with him playing, only to find out at the last gig that he'd passed away. The stage was set for him with chair, music stand and microphone, but he never appeared. Only at the end did Regina tell us what had happened. It was a surreal moment, really sad and shocking. I was lucky enough to meet him once after a gig and he was really friendly. He took the time to speak to me and my sisters. Seemed like a really nice guy, and such talent too. I'll watch this video from time to time and remember him.

7/6/10 we lost dan, thats one year ago and my inspiration in life regina spektor and other close friends and family members still miss him dearly...i wish i couldve gotten a chance to see him live.
