Great work Matt.. you must have years of experience... I live in Ireland and unfortunately we are very low on the scale for % of trees in our country....hopefully it changes soon though

i really like the care taken in planting each tree, which is likely to mean reduced mortality rates.
could you explain why deciduous exotics are favoured over native trees? the video suggested it was to do with increasing fertility near the soil surface, but for what purpose? to establish food plants?

Yes to encourage soil fertility and raise food web organisms and encourage rich diversity of food forest plants both native and exotic species.
