Using Friend Lists with Facebook

You can use Friend Lists in Facebook to segregate your friends into different groups and then provide different levels of access to your personal information to them. This would allow you to let your close friends see everything, only let your work colleagues see your posted links but not your status or photos, and let those distant high school friends that hunted you down just see your basic information.

can you interact with each list separately? in other words, can i type something that will only be seen by members of one list and not the others?

Sadly, I don't think so.  But you can send messages to a friend list.

Yeah, though I think you'd have to have everyone join that group. That may not be workable because you need their help.

i got a friend on facebook but when i go to my friend list, they were not there.. i searched them and i can't add them again 'cause we're already friends but they were not on my friend list.. what should i do??
