  • RIP

A thought for the families and children who were were encouraged to return to the US before 30 days following their demise. Imagine, you loose you loved one, your father and then you are forced to leave your home while you still wrestle with the pain of loss. That is no way to show the fallen or their families support.

A memorial stands at the point of impact for anyone who wants to pay their respects.

  • @JSRHODES11 I took my IE ride with him at Rucker. Great guy.

  • @grimaces When did Germany become 1 dimensional? "Western Germany" not "West Germany".

  • @grimaces jaa amerikaner leben halt aufem baum ..

  • I love starting a vid and seeing my patch right in my face.

  • Ahh ... Western Germany doesn't exist anymore.

There isn't a wall between north and south either. You're being a German idiot (Ich weiss etwas- and proclaiming that to the world), it's a cardinal direction that indicates location in generalities that everyone understands, vs. stating a city name that few know other than people familiar with that place. How about they say a plane crashed in Najef Iraq, how many would know where that is? But if they say "Southern Iraq" you have a clue, don't you?

  • I knew this crew very well. The callsign was Duke 27. The crew was CW4 Gary M. Farwell, CW2 Clayton M. Hickman, and CPL Matthew Clark. They were flying an IFR approach to Coleman Army Airfield, located in Mannheim, Germany. I especially knew CW4 Farwell really well. We had served together in Iraq ( 2003-2004) and Afganistan (2005-2006). He was a great man and exceptional pilot.

  • @Hetzer86 the wall will always exist in the heads of ppl :)

  • @thatman64 it doesnt start anything, i dont fly blackhawks, but i have flown in them and i am a pilot. they normally switch a computer, or arm weapons/control surfaces
