The cop was found guilty and has been sentenced to jail for 11 years the maximum sentence which really should be longer as the motor cyclist is now wheel chair bound.

Hopefully he'll sue the police department and city and win and at least will be set for life financially.

If you review the video closely you will see that the officer does not turn on his lights until after the biker's speed off. If you note the time at the bottom right you will see that the biker's stop just maybe 15 seconds after the lights come on (takes anyone a few seconds to pull over). You will also notice that the man was shot just about 7 seconds after the officer came to a complete stop!

Like you said 7 seconds is nothing to comply with an officer. Hell, I'm hard of hearing so I would of been thinking "what did he say". I too would of turned around and have when pulled over on my motorcycle. I wear a helmet so I typically take that off as soon as I stop so I can hear. I feel that Officer could of shot any one of us motorcyclist...he has an itchy trigger finger and should pay the price.

This is exactly why cops are being preceived as criminals with guns-which as this video shows seems to be the case! I believe it's time to retrain these wanna be law officers and the rubber bullets idea might be a good punishment for them along with large prison stays. And this from a law abiding and clean record former guard/military man. Take away all guns from the whole population and watch the foreigners come and divest us of our country-Oh, the Congress/House are already doing that!

Well now we get to trade a salary for the cost of keeping this asshole in prison. Go back to hard labor camps and reduce cops to rubber bullets. Rubber bullets are just as effective as metal bullets, and no one will die. Do the research yourself.
