I didn't think it was a slam... just didn't want to leave anyone with the perception that Steve's career essentially ended in 1991.

Don't trust buzz's account of Steve's career - He got clean in 1994, and has made some great music ( and I would say better) since that time. Check out his later albums for yourself. If you prefer rock - "I Feel Alright" and "El Corozon" are two of his best, though he also has a great bluegrass album ("The Mountain") and some political and folk-influenced work. I think which you like better depends on your tastes, but he still gets good reviews and wins Grammies.

@buzz2013 Ohh, i didn't know about that man, i wasn't heavily into the guy, but when i was younger, yeah i loved him, great artist .. that's a shame man.

@EddKonnekshun Right on Bro, it was a real bummer to see him get caught up in the heavy drugs, his career pretty much was F**KED after that...he never got back to where he was musically since....too bad cause he put out some really good sitting around having a beer music.
