@aruvani before he killed Lexi he gave the sheriff vervain and he kinda became friends with her and I also think tht the sheriff used the vervain to get Lexi out of the club. Hope it makes sense

Im going to be the first one to say love things to paul alone on this!!!!!! I love he may be kind of the serious type on the show but thats shows how much of a great actor he is!!! Hes is really really funny in person although he has his funny moments in the show!!!!
