The world is at peace when we all stand together for the great caused. Suu Kyi is great example, warm heart, smart, and genuine. Happy birthday and thanks to everyone for the strength and support for their struggles.

No. Democracy is a political system. Capitalism is an economic system. They are not necessary to each other,
Meanwhile, the "sex industry" is already going on. (And what's the difference, marriage or not, men always pay for sex, or they don't get it.)

Democracy means capitalism, right? And now the capitalists can steal the resources of Burma and start up the sex industry.

The symbol for so called "democracy and human rights" has kept silent while these unprecedented crimes against humanity have taken place, for a woman that was born into privilege, her mindset is reminiscent of days of the old where nationalism and so called " they are foreigners " beliefs trump any sense of justice. She is only silent so that she may speak when the military has completed its cleansing policy, but rest assured "General "Aung San Suu Kyi, history will document your actions.
