The 33rd in an ongoing series where I ask Christians and other theists difficult questions. Each video deals with only one topic, and will challenge believers to think outside their usual responses. Feel free to post a video response to any question you can answer. If you want to post a comment but need more than 500 characters, post your comments at: http://www.ToughQuestionsPodcast.com

  • You need to look up what a "strawman" argument is. You set all the criteria, then prove your own position which is not rooted in science. You know the science you assert so vehemently. "The Just" means Jesus, not any human being. Your argument is so ludicrous and Im really surprised no one has called you on it thus far. Logic suggests that all terms must be defined by the author, not the reader. Its called context. Do you do this with all other literary pieces or are you impartial to the "book"?

  • @autofill67 If "The Just" means Jesus, then this verse clearly states that it is an abomination to condemn him while letting the wicked go unpunished. If you don't think this applies to Jesus, then please explain why, and cite your biblical sources either showing that Jesus was not just - and therefore this wouldn't apply - or that says this verse only applies to humans, and God doesn't have to follow his own rules.

  • All stupid religions are an abomination. None of them can agree on anything, and none of them are holy.

  • How about God did this; X deserves to be tortured forever in hell and he sends Y to be tortured it hell instead. Makes the same amount of sense.

  • AZ, you stated "when I was a Christian", then went on to your argument. What ever brought you out of Christianity? The devil must really be planting seeds of doubt in your mind. Rightousness is not something man can possess. He is not capable of being Holy. Only GOD. Therefore you cannot cover/cleanse unrightousness(man) with rightousness(GOD). The sacrifice had to come from a rightous person (JC) in order to make the unrightous Holy unto GOD. (How much of the bible did you study "when"?)

  • Truly the contradictions of Christianity are a wonder to behold.

  • @candiceevans1 There's not even such a thing as 'THE BIBLE', there are dozens of different bibles with different cannons. Different books, means a different compilation, and they all claim to be THE bible. But they can't all be, thus the bibles is more apt.

  • @candiceevans1 It sounds like he sacrificed an incarnate human form to appease himself. You know if the god of the bible wasn't such a moronic ass it wouldn't have needed that in the first place. The whole thing makes no sense.

  • @candiceevans1 I think he understands it quiet well. He's just trying to explain to gullible idiots like yourself why your "gospel" is complete BULLSHIT.

  • @candiceevans1 What a sacrifice. An almighty being made a human form of himself and killed it. Let it go to Hell for awhile and now he has TWO forms of himself in Heaven for all of eternity. How hard that must have been for him to do. I'm not here to debate, there are plenty of videos here on youtube that are perfectly able to express any and all doubts I would have. If you are open minded enough to change you'll be looking them up yourself and if you're not then I can't change that.
