Who the hell cares? One is a trombone choir and the other is a drum corp brass line; some might love the attention to minute detail enforced by Alessi while others might prefer the wall of sound produced under Shaw.

Oh yes because listening to high school upperclassmen and undergrad students pinching out high notes that are so pleasing to the human ear, which by the way are usually way out of tune because they're all trying to be the loudest player on the field, is so much better than listening to these guys who are more than likely in the process of receiving their doctorates (usually in performance) or are professional players playing the best instrument God put on this earth.
